NOÉ

Welcome aboard

Kingdoms by air.

Created by Noé & his dad

Below you is The Kingdoms of the Mage Kings, an open survival world the two of us are building. The balloon comes from it too. In the game it only goes straight up, so for this visit we let it wander. Scroll, and it shows you around.

A purple and gold hot-air balloon with a wicker basket is moored on a stone platform, east of a snowy castle.

The Snow Bastion

Everyone starts here, in the courtyard, two steps from a chest with a blade, bread and torches. The portcullis is built raised and it stays raised. Leave by the south gate and go wherever you like. Nothing will ever pull you back.

A stone castle with two brown-roofed towers and red banners stands in the snow, beside a frozen lake.

Treasure under the Waves

White pavilions with teal roofs stand on a lake. Learn the water surge at the altar, then take the stair behind it. It goes down, dry, to a glass vault on the lake bed. The last corridor before the royal chest has walls that close in.

White pavilions and towers with stepped teal roofs stand on a lake, joined to the shore by a causeway.

Keep of the Giant Tree

A keep inside one giant tree, in a walled garden with a moat. The altar is in the heart of the tree, and a stair winds up the trunk to two decks and a crow's nest. Under the roots there is a temple where the ceiling comes down on the marked tiles.

A giant tree with rooms in its trunk and decks in its branches rises from a walled garden ringed by a moat.

Bastion of the Burning Moat

A black fortress in a moat of lava, with a great fire on each of its four towers. The way in is the drawbridge on the south side. Mind the holes. Under the forge, pale slabs mark the one safe path across the lava to the royal chest.

A square fortress of black stone stands in a moat of lava, with a fire burning on each corner tower.

Throne of the Three Summits

The kingdom of Amethyra is a dark palace in terraces on three snowy summits, lit violet and cyan. The road passes under the Gate of the Twin Towers, where a trebuchet watches it, then climbs a great stair through three walls. The throne at the top asks for four seals and the blessing of the wind.

A dark palace climbs three snowy summits in terraces, with a glowing cyan cube at its heart.

The Sky Kingdom

Five islands above the clouds, joined on foot by white bridges. You come up by balloon, a real climb and never a teleport, and step out at the Refuge of the Heights. Its chest keeps coal and a lighter for the way back.

A white castle with cyan-lit towers sits on a floating island, with smaller islands around it.

Three more worlds, under construction.

Prehistoric, Future and Military are building sites today, with more plans than blocks. Nothing there can be played yet. When something real stands on one of them, this map will show it.

Three building sites wait at the edges of the map, one for each world to come.

A father, a son, one workshop.

Noé imagines the places, chooses the pictures, plays what comes out and says what he thinks. Dad turns the pictures into castles you can walk through. We design, build and test together, and Noé has the last word.
